TAWLA has the following events planned for September 2010: Workshops to promote the role of women in elections- TAWLA/UNIFEM
TAWLA team will be conducting the said workshops in the following areas: - Coastal Region: Participants in this region will be from Morogoro, Coastal and Dar es salaam.
- Central zone: Participants in this region will be from Dodoma, Singida, Tabora and Kigoma.
- Nothern Zone: In this region participants will be from Manyara, Arusha, Kilimanjaro and Tanga
- Zanzibar and Pemba: This will comprise of participants from Mjini, Magharibi, Kusini, Unguja, Kaskazini Unguja, Kusini Pemba and Kaskazini Pemba
- Lake Zone: Participants in this area will be from Mwanza, Kagera, Shinyanga and Mara
Other activities that are normally carried out in TAWLA, including:
- Offering legal aid
- Research
