Stakeholders Call for Review of the Road Traffic Act,1973

Tanzania Women Lawyers Association (TAWLA) together with other stakeholders advocating for the review of the Road Traffic Act, 1973 who form part of the Road Safety Coalition in Tanzania held a meeting with government officials and the media.

The Road Safety Coalition called on policy makers, law makers and government officials to see the necessity of working on the amendment for the Road Traffic Act in order to address the issue of road safety and reduce the number of people dying as a result of road crashes.
