IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF THE PASSED BY LAWS IN VILLAGES OF KISARAWE DISTRICT

In assessing the results of a project which aimed at strengthening women’s participation in land administration at village level, a team of legal officers from TAWLA in collaboration with the Kisarawe District Council legal officers, conducted a monitoring visit to villages to evaluate the effectiveness and results of the passed by-Laws mainly on areas of women land ownership, participation of women in governance and in decision-making bodies at the village level.
