TAWLA Meeting with Stakeholders in Morogoro

Tanzania Women’s Lawyers Association (TAWLA) collaborating with the Tanzania End Child Marriage Network (TECMN) and other stakeholders who are engaged in the protection of children’s rights in Tanzania, have met to discuss the entire process of the issue of child marriage and the process of collecting opinions of citizens on changes to the Marriage Act.

One of the things that has been discussed in detail is the issue of the age of marriage in Tanzania and how it affects the child.
